Sustainability in Finance

Failure to adequately plan our finances is an intergenerational justice issue. If we are going to increase taxes or spending, the case for why needs to be compelling and specific. Transparency and accountability measures need to be strong, not toothless or for show only, and there needs to be a mechanism for citizens to act if transparency and accountability measures are not followed scrupulously.
